Sylvania Kendrick's parents die on her eleventh birthday.  Her father's cousin becomes her guardian and banishes her to Haven House to live with a disgraced cousin that no one likes.  When she arrives at Haven House, however, she becomes intrigued with her beautiful cousin Ginny.  Why was she sent to Haven House?
